This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and competent Chef to become the franchise caterer at Duff House Royal Golf Club, judged to be one of the top 100 courses in Scotland.
Located in the Georgian town of Banff in Scotland and nestling beside the Moray Firth, the Club has more than 800 members, a vibrant open tournament schedule and a large number of visitors each year. The Club also runs three week-long tournaments in the summer months which attract hundreds of players.
This provides a great opportunity for an ambitious and motivated caterer to develop an already viable and successful business.
As well as providing a high standard of catering and service for a variety of parties, society and corporate golf days and functions for up to 140 guests, there will also be a requirement to provide a daily snacks and lunch service. This is a highly-prized requirement by members.
Working in partnership with the Club, there is also the opportunity to increase revenue still further through regular Sunday lunches, themed evenings for members, and other associated events.
Applicants should hold relevant Food Hygiene qualifications, have experience in providing a high standard of restaurant service and be able to demonstrate an aptitude and drive to develop the business further. The Club provides a modern kitchen with a wide range of equipment and a dining room with spectacular views. Combined, they make the job of preparing high quality food a pleasurable experience.
